Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: January 16, 2026

Welcome to PeerX. These Terms & Conditions explain the rules for using the PeerX website and services. By accessing or using PeerX, you agree to follow these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the platform. These Terms apply to all visitors and users of PeerX, including those joining during the early access phase.

1 Platform Overview and Services

PeerX is a peer-to-peer digital asset trading platform that allows users to interact directly with other users to trade supported digital assets using escrow-protected workflows.

PeerX does not act as a buyer, seller, broker, or financial advisor. The platform only provides the technical tools and systems that enable users to conduct peer-to-peer transactions.

During the early access phase, some features may be limited, changed, or unavailable. PeerX may modify, suspend, or update services at any time to improve performance, security, or compliance.

PeerX does not guarantee that any specific digital asset will remain available on the platform and may add or remove supported assets based on platform policies.

2 Eligibility and Account Responsibility

  • To use PeerX, you must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to use digital asset services in your country or region.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when creating or using your account. You must keep your login details secure and must not share your account with others.
  • All actions taken using your account are your responsibility. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, you must contact PeerX support immediately.
  • PeerX may suspend or restrict accounts if there is suspicious activity, misuse of services, or violation of these Terms.

3 Peer-to-Peer Trading and Escrow

All trades on PeerX take place directly between users. PeerX provides an escrow system that temporarily locks digital assets during the trade process to help protect both parties.

Digital assets are released from escrow only after trade conditions are confirmed according to platform workflows. Users must follow the trading steps shown on the platform to receive escrow protection.

PeerX does not control or process payments made outside the platform, including bank transfers or other local payment methods agreed between users.

PeerX is not responsible for losses caused by users sending payments outside platform instructions or failing to follow trade procedures.

4 Payments and Local Currency Settlements

  • Payments between users are handled through external payment methods chosen by the users, such as bank transfers or other local payment services.
  • PeerX does not hold, process, or control fiat currency payments and is not responsible for delays, reversals, or failures caused by third-party payment providers.
  • Users are responsible for making sure that their payment methods comply with local laws and regulations in their country or region.
  • Any disputes related to external payment services must be resolved between the users and the payment provider.

5 User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

Users must use PeerX in a lawful and responsible manner and follow all platform rules and trading procedures.

You agree NOT to:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Attempt to bypass escrow or security systems
  • Engage in fraud, scams, or deceptive behavior
  • Use the platform for illegal activities
  • Harass or abuse other users or support staff
  • Manipulate trades or misuse dispute systems

PeerX may take action against accounts that violate these rules, including suspending or permanently blocking access to the platform.

6 Risk Disclosure and No Financial Advice

Trading digital assets involves financial risk, including the risk of losing money. Prices of digital assets can change quickly and unpredictably.

PeerX does not provide investment, financial, or legal advice. Any decisions you make to trade or hold digital assets are your own responsibility.

You should only trade if you understand the risks involved and can afford potential losses. Using PeerX does not guarantee profits or protection against market losses.

7 Termination, Liability, and Legal Matters

  • PeerX may suspend or permanently block access to the platform if a user violates these Terms or if it is necessary for security or legal reasons.
  • Users may stop using the platform at any time.
  • To the maximum extent allowed by law, PeerX is not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses, including loss of profits, data, or trading opportunities.
  • PeerX’s total responsibility, if any, is limited to the fees paid by the user to PeerX for using the platform, if applicable.
  • These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to PeerX’s operating jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
  • If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining parts will still apply.
